2008-11-22T21:33:00-05:00

Howdy y'all! Illness, stock market crashes, a move to a new home,a new web hosting home for HBAT, and a slower couple of news months for the Old 97's have all conspired to keep posting to a minimum here at Hit By A Train. Jefe and Michael were working to keep the lights on, but their recent posts below, didn't show up until now, after I updated the new FTP and publishing settings to Blogger. But anyhow, there'll be more next week when I get back to Texas. Why? Because Turkey makes me post. Cheers - frank

2008-08-29T21:13:00-05:00

FYI for all y'all Bumbershooters from today's Seattle Times: Satellite Riders, an Old 97's tribute band out of Mineral Wells, Texas, plays the Tractor on Sunday, Aug. 31 at 9 p.m. Those who have seen both bands have said that the Riders sound exactly like the Old 97's, and even resemble them to an astonishing degree.
